Griffin Lodge

The South Branch Regional Library recently decided to have a Teen Writing competition, so naturally I decided I'd enter to see if I could string together a reasonable story. I learned that deadlines are a writer's best friend - if you have five days to write a story you don't waste them. I wrote a story titled Griffin Lodge, and I think it was a pretty good story - very P.G. Wodehouse meets ambiguous fantasy. And thus it came to pass, Griffin Lodge won third place. And there was much rejoicing. Happy happy happy. Now to spend my Barnes and Noble gift certificate - and probably most of my allowance to boot!

- Alex the deliriously happy.
